President's Greeting
Welcome to the Louisiana Chapter of
HFMA Website
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as your President of the Louisiana Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. We have a wonderful chapter and I am fortunate to have the chance to lead the organization throughout the upcoming year. I would like to personally thank all of the Members, past-Presidents, Officers, vendors and speakers that helped to make this Association a success. We had another successful Annual Meeting in Lafayette with attendance over 200. I hope all of you enjoyed yourselves at this event and hope to see you in Shreveport at Sam’s Town, August 17-19.Roger Mattke, our President Elect and Program Chair, has a wonderful agenda planned for our Summer Institute. This year while I’m traveling the state, my focus will be on increasing our Membership. We have such a wonderful opportunity for education and networking at a reasonable price. I would also ask the Membership to explain to your associates what HFMA can do for them. We are always looking for growth while hopefully educating our members to their satisfaction. We as a Board, will welcome anyone that would like to serve as a Committee Member. If you want to be involved you are welcome to contact me or anyone of our Officers. The Officers would also like to know what educational topics are of interest. We are always looking for new fresh ideas and speakers to enhance our programs. Please contact Roger Mattke to discuss your topics. Again, I thank all of you for your continued support. I would also like to thank, my employer, The Louisiana Hospital Association and John Matessino for allowing me the time to serve as your President.
